I could have lost my job, or even my life to save yours. He did mean that I was bold and brave, but I also gave up everything. At the time, I thought it was just an adorable comment from the great Master Wu.” Lloyd tried to pull away, but Nelson only held on tighter. But recently, I have realized how hard your life must be.” He hesitated, then continued “Once, a wise, very old man told me that I had the makings of Lloyd Garmadon. Ever since, I have been a huge fan of yours. I was in the hospital with two broken legs last time you saw me. You might not remember me, but my name is Nelson. He reached to grab his paper, but the boy grabbed his arm. Totally fine” He murmured unconvincingly. “You ok, Lloyd?” Lloyd snapped his head up. That’ll be three Ningles.” The boy said, smirking. He wasn’t one to complain, but sometimes. He had always wanted a childhood but had never really gotten one. Lloyd sighed deeply, his brow furrowing in sadness. “Sure thing, Lloyd.” Lloyd was stunned by the casual nature of this boy. The boy in a purple hoodie froze for a moment, then did a casual salute. “Hey, can I grab a newspaper?” He asked, trying to disguise his voice. Pulling down his fedora to hide his hair, Lloyd started to walk faster, towards the nearest newspaper junction he had seen on his previous excursions here. But now, window washing didn’t sound so bad. Very satisfying?” At the time, he had thought his friend was crazy. I call her Sunny! If you have missed a spot, she will let you know, and you get to do it all over again. After some thought, he recalled what a friend of his had once told him. He still couldn’t bear to think about her. Off his powers, off his father, off…Lloyd stopped. While walking down the sidewalk in a green sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and fingerless gloves, he decided to get a job to keep his mind off everything. Once his emotions were under control again, Lloyd took a deep breath, cleaned himself up, and left. After several frantic attempts, he was able to snuff out the flames, then collapsed on his bed, his body shaking with tears. Then Lloyd lost every bit of control he had left. He hesitated for a millisecond, wondering where he knew this power from. The fire was purple and, surprisingly, he wasn’t being burned. His hands were on fire! Through the cloud of fear that enveloped him, Lloyd noticed two things. He stood up, then let out a, as Jay would have said, very unmanly scream. Holy Spinjitsu! I slept all day and night! Lloyd groaned in annoyance. He glanced at his clock, which read six AM. NYA! Is that you? The figure changed appearance, morphing every second Morro? Fenwick? Harumi? Father? KALMAAR? Kalmaar laughed, his voice sounding like a thousand voices. Lloyd ran faster and faster, his lungs burning, then suddenly, he was hit, the wind blown out of his chest. He ducked, narrowly missing a fallen tree trunk. More tired and worn than he had ever felt, he plopped on the bed and fell asleep upon contact. Determined to get as far away as possible, he ran all night, reaching the far side of Ninjago City. After hastily packing up his things, Lloyd waited for nightfall and left the monastery. As he re-entered his room after traversing the monastery for the fifth time, he made up his mind to leave. Cole had told him that he would mend in time, but Lloyd had barely heard his words. Lloyd had stayed with Cole and Zane but felt out of place. Kai and Jay had both disappeared shortly after the ceremony for Nya and hadn’t been seen since. He trudged through the monastery, feeling empty and alone as he passed pictures of his friends and family. It had been three weeks since Nya’s death, and Lloyd had become restless. But there are some things we must do first…” Well said.” Cole’s gaze glided over the team. We will always remember her, and she will live in us forever.” No one responded, then Cole walked from behind Lloyd and rested his hand on Lloyd’s shoulder, a sad smile on his face. “We will all miss Nya, but we must move on. “She can’t be-” Lloyd, determined to be the leader, pulled himself together. Kai was standing beside Lloyd, his face as devastated as Lloyd felt. Zane was sitting with his legs over the edge of the building, unmoving, a look of horror and pain plastered on his face. Lloyd’s gaze automatically flitted towards Zane for reassurance. “Now what? What do we do?” Jay cried, falling on his hands and knees. It was a moment before Lloyd realized it was his own. Tears rolled down his battered, already wet face. Lloyd stood frozen, staring out towards the sea. Hello everyone! For a long time, I've wanted to make a fanfiction for season 15.
